Powertrain and performance
The Hi4 hybrid system combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 167 hp with two electric motors to generate a total output of 598 hp. The SUV accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds. A 42.8 kWh traction battery provides up to 232 km of pure electric range under the CLTC cycle, while total range reaches 1,404 km on a tank of gasoline. A 15-minute fast charge adds approximately 126 km of range.

The SUV also features EDC adaptive shock absorbers, independent suspension, an iTVC torque distribution system, an electronically controlled rear differential lock, and seven driving modes including snow, sand, and mud.
