On Wednesday, March 6, TVP Info covered the farmers’ protest taking place in Warsaw. During the event, there were clashes with the police, and tear gas and water cannons were used. Polish Television reporters: Roch Kowalski, Mariusz Studzienny and Paweł Kursa went to the place of the demonstration.

Shortly after 4 p.m. they connected with the Polish Television studio to provide the host with the latest information. Just a few seconds after Maciej Adamiak’s announcement, Rafał Jarząbek, a former employee of the station, appeared right next to Mariusz Studzienny. The journalist worked in the TVP Info editorial office for several years, preparing street polls and reporting on Donald Tusk’s pre-election meetings.

Jarząbek appeared suddenly, surprising Mariusz Studzienny. “I just wanted to say that this Polish Television is illegal,” he shouted to the camera, to which the reporter reacted by leaving to another place. However, Jarząbek followed him step by step, rewinding from time to time in subsequent shots. In the background, he could be heard talking about, among other things, the illegal appointment of the supervisory board. A few minutes later, Paweł Kursa connected with the TVP studio, but he too had no peace: “A very insistent gentleman is trying to disrupt our work. Please do not touch my operator and do not harass the reporter in action,” he commented to the camera.

Rafał Jarząbek referred to the incident with his participation on TikTok: “Today I was walking with porters near the Sejm and there was a farmers’ protest there. And at this protest – listen, you won’t believe it – I met Donald Tusk’s officers from neoTVP and I couldn’t resist.
