Due to the intense rains that hit the northern regions of the country, the president Dina Boluarte announced this Saturday that the Government will allocate S/4,000 million to piura in order to repair the damage suffered by this region. He indicated that attention to citizens is carried out in coordination with local authorities. “(It will be allocated) S/4,000 million, but as a contingency for Piura, to be able to solve all these needs that the Peruvian population has,” said the president.
Regarding the machinery that the population needs in the areas where homes have been affected, the president assured that this is being coordinated with private companies so that they provide the necessary equipment to the northern cities. “However, as a government policy, we are going to deliver a pack of heavy machinery to each provincial municipality, precisely so that, immediately the problem arises, all the provincial mayors have the tools,” she added.
Coordination with authorities
The Head of State highlighted that emergency care in the northern regions of the country, which were affected by the Cyclone Yaku, will be carried out in coordination with local authorities. In this context, he specified that other officials of the Executive power They traveled to different cities to verify the damage caused by the rains.
