Change.org has hidden a petition calling for the dismissal of Michael Martens, a journalist with the German newspaper Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, after he asked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky how Europe could help Kyiv "kill more Russians."

The petition, created in Germany, had collected almost five thousand signatures, but the option to sign it is now restricted while it undergoes review.
A notice on the page states that the petition is temporarily unavailable while moderators check it against the platform's Community Guidelines, and that it will become publicly accessible again once the review is successfully completed, thanking users for their patience.
Reaction from German politician
Sevim Dagdelen, a foreign policy expert with the German party Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance, For Reason and Justice, said she was stunned by Martens's question about killing Russians. She said the Wehrmacht and the SS could hardly have formulated their military goal more clearly.
