Russian singer and actress Zhenya Malakhova has revealed that construction of her new apartment has been delayed because the developer is not rushing to hand over keys.
The performer told Russian media outlet StarHit that she and her family have had to postpone their renovation and moving plans while waiting for the building work to finish.
Malakhova explained that the property remains at the construction stage, admitting that she is looking forward to the moment when her family can finally settle into their new home.
Despite the delay in receiving the keys, the artist has already approved the complete floor plan and interior design project for the residence. The approved layout features individual small bedrooms for her two young children, four year old son Fyodor and two year old daughter Pavla.
Malakhova stressed that separate bedrooms are essential for a young family, acknowledging that while not every household can afford individual rooms, creating distinct spaces is vital from a psychological perspective.
She added that her children have contrasting temperaments, describing one child as an extrovert and the other as an introvert, making dedicated personal quarters necessary so each child has their own space.
Zhenya Malakhova pop music career
Born in Moscow, Malakhova rose to prominence in the mid 2000s after joining the popular Russian girl group Reflex as a lead vocalist. The dance pop group enjoyed widespread radio success and chart popularity across post Soviet countries before Malakhova left the ensemble to pursue acting.
Following her departure from the music group, Malakhova established a secondary career as an actress, appearing in various Russian feature films and television drama series.
