The Weeknd is performing two shows this Saturday and Sunday at Estadio do Restelo in Lisbon, Portugal, marking the final European dates of his "After Hours Til Dawn Tour." The Canadian singer, whose real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye, returns to Portugal three years after his last appearance in the country.
The world tour is dedicated to a trilogy of albums: "After Hours" (2020), "Dawn FM" (2022) and "Hurry Up Tomorrow" (2025).
French DJ and producer Prince 85, a longtime collaborator of The Weeknd, is opening both shows alongside American rapper Playboi Carti. Doors are set to open at 5pm, with the concerts beginning at 7pm.
Fourth visit to Portugal
This weekend's shows mark the fourth time The Weeknd has performed in Portugal. He previously played the Primavera Sound festival in Porto in 2012, appeared at NOS Alive in 2017, and headlined a solo concert at the Passeio Maritimo de Alges, in Oeiras, in 2023.
The singer is already in Lisbon ahead of the concerts.

The Weeknd was born in Toronto, Canada, on February 16, 1990. He began releasing music anonymously in 2009 before putting out his debut studio album, "Kiss Land," in 2013. Five more studio albums followed.
Over his career, he has won four Grammy Awards, 20 Billboard Music Awards, 22 Juno Awards, six American Music Awards, three MTV Video Music Awards and one Latin Grammy.
The Weeknd is among the artists, alongside Taylor Swift, whose songs have been pulled from TikTok amid a wider dispute between major music companies and the platform.
His current tour and recent work have been described as ambitious, cathartic and monumental.
