The Spanish tennis player said that the award given by France Football should go to the Real Madrid player, for his commitment to the sport.
The Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal openly asked this Tuesday that the Golden Ball be awarded to the Real Madrid player Karim Benzema, whom he said he admires, among other things, for his commitment to the sport.
Through his official Twitter account, Nadal gave his opinion on which player should win the trophy and argued the reasons why the Real Madrid striker should be the graceful one.
“My admiration as a player, the commitment to sport and professionalism at his age. Good luck and my support for the 2021 Ballon d’Or Benzema, ”he wrote.
Nadal’s support comes a couple of days after voting closed for the award given by France Football magazine and for which names such as Lionel Messi, Jorginho, Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappé compete. (D)
