Savovic ceases to be the general director of Bilbao Basket

The Bilbao Basket has confirmed that has decided to “unilaterally desist”, as of October 31, from the employment relationship it had with Pedja Savovic, that has served as CEO of the Basque club since August 19, 2019. President Isabel Iturbe will take over the general management.

Savovic, 45, thus closes his second stage in Bilbao Basket. In the first of them, between 2004 and 2016, was a player for five seasons, in which he played 134 games in the ACB, and later served as a manager, first in the marketing area and later as Administration Counsel President.

After three years, the last two at the head of the management of Basket Zaragoza, Savovic returned to Bilbao in 2019 to occupy the position of CEO replacing Javier Barcala.

The club wanted to thank Savovic for the work done at Bilbao Basket in recent years.
