Former Russian national team player Glushakov left Rostov

Former Russian national team player Denis Glushakov left Rostov. This was reported on the club’s Telegram channel.

The 37-year-old midfielder trained with the team at the winter training camp in the UAE. Glushakov said that in a month he managed to get into good shape. “I’ve trained, then my path will probably be different. Let’s see where I end up,” the footballer shared.

On January 30, Glushakov terminated his contract with Spartak Kostroma, which he had represented since September 2023. Previously, he played for the Moscow Lokomotiv and Spartak, with the latter becoming the champion of Russia and the winner of the country’s Super Cup, as well as Pari Nizhny Novgorod, Khimki near Moscow, Rostov SKA, Irkutsk Zvezda and Grozny Akhmat.

Glushakov played 57 matches as a member of the Russian national team. He scored five goals and one assist. Together with the national team, the midfielder competed at the European Championships in 2012 and 2016, as well as at the 2014 World Championships.
