Xodó of the crowd, Rafael Leão scores the first goal for Portugal against Ghana: “Important is the victory”

The striker entered the game in the 32nd minute of the second stage and scored a goal with just two minutes on the field. The goal was Portugal’s third against Ghana and defined the victory by 3 to 2.

“It was something I was looking for a long time. I managed to help the team and I am very happy, but the most important thing is the victory. From the beginning we had the initiative of the game, we looked for the goals and the group is to be congratulated”, declared Leão to CNN Portugal.

“The coach prepared the team very well, we knew they were very strong on the counterattack. We took the initiative in the game and they stayed back for a long time, but we improved in the second half, we showed another attitude and we were happy”, completed the striker .

Portugal returns to the pitch next Monday against Uruguay, starting at 4 pm (Brasília time), at Lusail Stadium, in Doha.
