The goalkeeper, highlight of Morocco in the 2022 World Cup, was even closer to transferring to Saudi Arabia after Bayern Munich, which is looking for a replacement for Manuel Neuer, ended negotiations due to considering the offer made by Al-Hilal too high.
Thus, still according to Fabrizio Romano, both parties are optimistic for the deal to go through. Bono has a contract with Sevilla until June 2025.
If the deal is closed, the goalkeeper will join defender Koulibaly, midfielders Rúben Neves and Milinkovic-Savic, and striker Malcom, in addition to Neymar, at the Arab club. There are still expectations of midfielder Marco Verratti and center forward Aleksandar Mitrovic also signing with the Saudis.
