FSBI billed 100 thousand Swiss francs for checking wrestlers

The Russian Wrestling Federation (FSBR) billed 100 thousand Swiss francs for checking athletes claiming neutral status. TASS reports this.

“Wrestlers are tested every trip, and every trip there is something new – the exact admission protocol is unknown to anyone. Moreover, the cry about snitching and denunciations, which was replicated by the head of the International Olympic Committee, only multiplies this story. There is an unprecedented task of isolating Russian sports,” said the head of the FSBR, Mikhail Mamiashvili.

It is reported that 100 thousand Swiss francs will be used to compensate for the costs of checking Russian fighters and their involvement in security forces. After verification, the issue of granting neutral status to athletes is decided.

Earlier, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) did not allow two-time Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling from Russia Abdulrashid Sadulayev to qualify for the Olympic Games in Paris.
