Conor McGregor has invested in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight and featherweight champion Conor McGregor has become a co-owner of the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. The Irishman announced this on his Instagram page (the social network is prohibited in the Russian Federation; belongs to the Meta corporation, which is recognized as extremist in Russia and is banned).
“Welcome to the big leagues. David Feldman (head of the organization – approx. “Tapes.ru”), baby, we did it,” McGregor said.
Under the terms of the deal, Conor’s company McGregor Sports and Entertainment becomes a co-owner of BKFC, while Triller remains the majority shareholder of the promotion.
Earlier, Conor McGregor announced the date of his return to the UFC as a fighter. The 35-year-old Irishman said that on June 29 he will fight with American Michael Chandler. McGregor had his last fight in the summer of 2021, losing to American Dustin Poirier by technical knockout. Then Conor suffered a broken leg.
