Peruvian influencer Sheyla Rojas has made an unexpected trip to Spain to reunite with her 13-year-old son Antoñito following her recent relationship split.
The former reality television star announced the end of her five-year relationship with Mexican businessman Sir Winston before traveling to Europe to see her child and evaluate his health status in person.
Rojas shared video footage of the emotional meeting on her official Instagram account, where the mother and son were seen enjoying a warm day at a swimming pool. The boy repeatedly kissed his mother during the outing, which she captioned by describing him as her doll.
The reunion came after several months apart for the mother and child. Antoñito resides in Spain under the care of his father, Spanish bullfighter Antonio Pavón, and Pavón’s partner, Joi Sánchez. Rojas had previously been living in Mexico.
Son recovers mobility after rare condition
During the visit, Rojas observed her son moving around independently. Antoñito was diagnosed with arthrogryposis multiplex congenita, a rare congenital condition characterized by joint stiffness that severely restricts mobility in the limbs.
Evaluating the progress of his health condition up close was one of the primary reasons for her journey to Europe. Supporters on social media commended the model for prioritizing her role as a mother and taking the time to travel abroad.
The meeting also highlighted a harmonious dynamic among the family members. Reports from the encounter noted strong camaraderie between Rojas, her ex-husband Pavón, and his partner Sánchez.
Rojas also used her stay in Europe to fulfill commercial commitments, promoting several brands across her social media accounts.
Reasons behind Sir Winston split
The trip to Spain follows public confirmation from Rojas that she has ended her five-year relationship with Mexican entrepreneur Sir Winston. Speaking during an interview on a podcast hosted by television presenter Magaly Medina, Rojas revealed the reasons behind the separation for the first time.
Rojas stated that she and Sir Winston held conflicting future plans. She also cited cases of infidelity during their relationship, though she declined to provide further details regarding the claims.
Reflecting on the breakup, Rojas explained that she had tolerated a significant amount throughout the relationship. However, she noted that a point arrives where both partners realize they are no longer aligned with what the other wants.
The model also acknowledged recent public sightings connecting her with former Peruvian congressman Joaquín Ramírez, confirming that she is currently getting to know the politician.
