The content creator, who left Russia, detailed the incident in a video published on YouTube, explaining that he was staying at the property alongside a group of friends when the attempt occurred.

Attempted break-in at Monaco villa

According to Grigoriev-Appolonov, the situation began during the night when fellow blogger Igor Sinyak, who was staying at the house, heard footsteps outside and alerted the other occupants.

The group later discovered that someone had opened the front entrance door of the villa and propped it open with a stone. The bloggers believed the intruders intended to break inside but fled after realizing the residents were awake.

Grigoriev-Appolonov added that when they returned to the property two days later, they found the upholstery and exterior trim of the main door completely shattered where the suspects had tried to force entry. Traces of a break-in attempt were also found on a second door leading into the residence.

Suspected surveillance and relocation

In the period surrounding the incident, the bloggers frequently noticed individuals on motorcycles near the property. The group believed these individuals were monitoring the house and could be connected to the attempted burglary.

Monaco, a microstate on the French Riviera known for luxury real estate, attracts high-profile international visitors and content creators. Despite the security concerns, Grigoriev-Appolonov and Sinyak remained at the rented villa for a short time before securing another property, with Grey Wiese admitting that they lived with the constant feeling that something was about to happen.

Previous robbery incident in Paris

The Monaco incident follows a separate robbery involving Sinyak in January, when two men broke into an apartment he was living in while in Paris, the capital of France. During that intrusion, one of the men threatened Sinyak with a knife while the second ransacked the apartment and stole valuable personal belongings.
