Russian strikes killed at least three people including a child in Brovary and triggered fires across two districts in Kyiv at dawn on Saturday.

Three other people suffered injuries during the bombardment in Brovary, a city located a few kilometers northeast of the Ukrainian capital. Local officials reported that the strikes damaged property in three separate districts across the city.

Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv military administration, stated on Telegram that three people died in the attack, including one child. Tkachenko added that three people sustained injuries, but he did not specify whether the deadly strikes involved missiles or drones.

Explosions and fires in Kyiv

More than ten explosions echoed across Kyiv at dawn following the activation of an air raid alarm for an incoming Russian missile attack. Vitali Klitschko, the mayor of Kyiv, reported that the strikes ignited fires in two districts of the capital.

Authorities confirmed that emergency services responded to the blazes, and there were no reports of casualties inside Kyiv itself as of Saturday morning.
