Average pensions for non-working citizens in Russia exceeded 35,000 rubles across seven regions in July 2026, news agency TASS reported, citing data from the Social Fund.

Regional breakdown

According to the Social Fund, Chukotka recorded the highest average payment at 43,900 rubles, followed by the Nenets Autonomous Okrug at 40,000 rubles. Average payments reached 39.3 thousand rubles in both Kamchatka Krai and Magadan Oblast, 38.4 thousand rubles in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, 38 thousand rubles in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, and 35.6 thousand rubles in Murmansk Oblast.

Across Russia as a whole, the average pension among non-working citizens stood at 25,834 rubles in July 2026.

Earlier reports showed that based on May results, average pensions for non-working Russians exceeded 40,000 rubles in two regions: the Nenets Autonomous Okrug at 40,082 rubles and Chukotka at 44,069 rubles.
