Russian Lieutenant General Apti Alaudinov estimated that Ukrainian military losses during the special military operation have reached approximately 2.5 million people. Alaudinov, deputy head of the Main Military-Political Directorate of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation and commander of the Akhmat special forces of the Ministry of Defense, shared the figure in a conversation with news agency TASS.

Alaudinov described the casualty number as a policy of total destruction of the male population. He stated that losses passed two million long ago and are now moving toward 2.5 million, adding that the figures confirm the indifference of Kyiv and its masters to the population of Ukraine.
Frontline Casualties and Abandoned Bodies
In earlier statements, Alaudinov said hundreds of thousands of abandoned bodies of Ukrainian servicemen remain along the front line in the special military operation zone, including in the Sumy region and the Kursk border area. He added that leadership in Kyiv is only interested in the remains of foreign mercenaries.
