The Peruvian National Police issued an official search notice after his family filed a formal missing person report days after he failed to return home from class.
Gallardo was last seen exiting CETPRO PROMAE Breña, a vocational education facility in central Lima. Relatives warned that he requires ongoing daily medication to treat schizophrenia and exhibits paranoia, raising severe concerns that he may be confused or disoriented.
CETPRO institutes, short for Centro de Educación Técnico-Productiva, are vocational training centers across Peru that offer technical skill courses under the supervision of the Ministry of Education.
The institution is situated in Breña, a densely populated central district of Metropolitan Lima known for busy transit routes and commercial corridors.
Family appeal for security footage
Victoria Gallardo, the missing man's sister, requested that police and local officials explore all avenues of investigation and take immediate steps to obtain and preserve municipal closed-circuit security camera recordings.
His family believes footage captured by municipal surveillance cameras could reveal the exact path Gallardo took after leaving his class and help establish what occurred in the hours following his departure.
According to details recorded in the police search alert, Gallardo stands approximately 1.70 meters tall, has black hair, a medium build, and a brown skin tone.
He was last seen wearing a black polo shirt, black trousers, and carrying a black backpack.
