Russian rapper Instasamka, whose real name is Darya Eropkina, has denied her previous statement that she moved to Dubai and left the Russian music market.
The artist published a post on Instagram stating that her earlier relocation announcement was simply a stunt to draw attention to herself ahead of the release of her new track titled Lish Raz. She stressed that she is not moving anywhere and emphasized that she never intends to stop making music for her audience.
Reversal of Dubai Relocation Announcement
Her denial on August 12 contradicted a social media post she published just one day earlier on August 11. In that previous statement, the performer claimed that she had moved to live in Dubai six months ago and did not plan to return to Russia.
According to the rapper, she had originally intended to leave the country in 2022. However, she said she chose to remain in Russia after the commercial success of her track Za Dengi Da among Russian speaking listeners.
She had also announced on August 11 that she was in the process of re recording her songs in English in order to launch a music career in Western countries.

Instasamka is a prominent Russian pop and hip hop artist and internet personality. She initially gained widespread national prominence through viral video blogging before establishing a commercial music career. Her single Za Dengi Da, which translates as For Money Yes, became one of the most widely streamed tracks in Russia following its release.
Dubai, located in the United Arab Emirates, has emerged as a major hub for Russian performers and influencers relocating abroad. The artist shared her update on Instagram, which is owned by technology company Meta Platforms. Russian authorities officially designated Meta as an extremist organization and banned its services in the country in 2022.
