Peru's Executive Branch has accepted the resignation of Percy Yhair Barranzuela Bombilla as a member of the Governing Council of the National Center for Strategic Planning (Ceplan), where they represented the National Government.
The decision was formalized through Supreme Resolution 251-2026-PCM, issued on August 8, 2026, and published in the official gazette El Peruano.
What the resolution says
According to the resolution, Barranzuela Bombilla submitted their resignation from the post, which the Executive Branch considered relevant. The measure also expresses gratitude for the services rendered to the nation.
Barranzuela Bombilla had been appointed to Ceplan's Governing Council at the proposal of the president of the Council of Ministers. They also previously served as deputy minister of interculturality at the Ministry of Culture.
The resolution carries the signatures of President Keiko Fujimori and Prime Minister Luis Galarreta.
