The Greek political party PASOK - Movement for Change has issued a statement of condolence following the death of actor Nikos Kalogeropoulos at age 74. The statement was released by the party's Culture Sector Network together with Nayia Grigorakou, the Culture Sector Responsible and Member of Parliament for Laconia.

Kalogeropoulos had a distinguished career in cinema, television, and theatre, where he stood out for his unique style of performance. PASOK described him as a restless and uncompromising spirit who also worked as a director, writer, poet, and singer.
Tribute to Artistic Career
In its statement, PASOK noted that Kalogeropoulos was guided by the principle that art has no meaning without politics. The party said this belief defined his path and earned him respect for his personal ethos.
Calling him a selective and multi-talented artist, the party stated that he leaves behind a significant body of work. PASOK and Grigorakou expressed their sincere condolences to his family and relatives.
