A 30-year-old massage salon employee named Guseyn has been arrested in Moscow for sexually assaulting a 21-year-old client on Prospekt Vernadskogo, Russian investigators reported.
The Moscow directorate of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced that the suspect was taken into custody after being formally charged with committing violent acts of a sexual nature under national criminal law.
According to law enforcement authorities, the incident occurred on September 3 inside a commercial massage parlor located along the avenue in western Moscow. Officials stated that the employee used physical violence against the woman, suppressing her resistance before committing the assault.
Further details regarding the victim and the business were reported by the Russian news outlet Baza. The victim, identified under the pseudonym Anna, had booked an appointment at the Massage Business Master salon, where Guseyn had recently been hired as an employee.
Allegations of assault during session
Baza reported that Guseyn pinned the client to the massage table during the treatment session, touched her intimately, and sexually abused her. After struggling against the attacker, the victim managed to break free, fled the salon, and immediately contacted local police to report the crime.
Officers located and detained the suspect shortly after the report was made. Investigators subsequently charged him under Article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which governs non-consensual sexual actions.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation functions as the primary federal authority in Russia responsible for conducting pretrial investigations into violent crimes. Prospekt Vernadskogo is a major residential and commercial thoroughfare in the Western Administrative Okrug of Moscow.
Suspect linked to online misogyny group
Following the arrest, details emerged regarding the suspect's activity on social media platforms. Investigators and local news outlets noted that Guseyn was a subscriber to an online misogynistic public page titled NE SUCHSHY SVET, where he regularly reposted content advising followers on how to humiliate women.
The administrators of that online community generate up to 30 million rubles by selling digital courses designed to instruct men on coercing women into sexual acts.
The attack is the latest violent incident involving women reported in the Russian capital. Moscow authorities previously investigated a separate case in which an intoxicated man pretending to be a law enforcement officer beat a young woman and attempted to rape her.
