Greek athlete Miltos Tentoglou captured his fourth consecutive long jump gold medal at the European Athletics Championships in Birmingham on his fourth jump. Tentoglou recorded earlier attempts of 8.27 meters, 8.19 meters, and 8.27 meters before producing his winning distance. Simon Ehammer of Switzerland finished second with a jump of 8.29 meters, while Bozhidar Saraboyukov of Bulgaria took third place with 8.26 meters.
