Comedian Maxim Galkin performed a song about the circus in front of MAX LED letters at a concert in Jurmala. He is listed in the Russian Ministry of Justice register of foreign agents.

A video clip of the performance was published by the Telegram channel NeMalahov. In the video, Galkin sang the song Arlekino, which launched the solo career of his wife, Alla Pugacheva.
The stage was decorated with large LED modules displaying the letters MAX. The Telegram channel suggested a political motive behind the backdrop, with the post's author asking whether the foreign agent was eager to return to Moscow after laying out the name of a Russian state messaging service in huge letters in Jurmala.
Previous performances
Galkin previously sang in Ukrainian during a corporate event for a yacht club in Monaco, performing the song Lyubov to son by musician Stepan Giga.
In April, Galkin hosted a wedding in Cannes for a Ukrainian couple consisting of an IT businessman originally from Georgia and a former Miss Ukraine contestant. The artist's fee could have reached about 10.5 million rubles, with singers Valery Meladze and American singer Ricky Martin also performing for the guests.
