Presenter María Pía Copello learned live during her podcast that her youngest daughter suffered an accident after falling down stairs at school on Monday, August 10.
Copello, who shares three children with her husband, businessman Samuel Dyer, was broadcasting her podcast Sin más que decir when she received an unexpected call from one of her workers.

Copello connected the phone call directly to the broadcast and requested that the worker describe what had happened live on air. The worker reported that the presenter's daughter fell down the stairs, causing immediate silence on the set as Copello's expression visibly shifted.
The worker explained that the girl sprained her left ankle, adding that while it was a little swollen and caused significant pain, bandages had already been applied. The worker noted that walking remained painful for the child.
In response, co-host Luciana Roy appeared to suggest that Copello leave the show to go to her daughter. Copello instructed her worker that she would send a driver to pick up the girl immediately.

Copello then asked to speak directly with her daughter on the phone to inquire about what took place. The child stated that she fell down the stairs and that her ankle was swollen, though it did not hurt as much.
When Copello confirmed plans to send someone for her, the child refused to return home, emphasizing that her ankle was already bandaged. Copello then chose to continue with the podcast episode.
