President Luis Abinader will resume his official domestic schedule on Sunday with a tour across three provinces to deliver property titles and open public works.
The visits will take the Dominican head of state to Santo Domingo Este, Monseñor Nouel, and San Cristóbal, following the completion of official work commitments in Madrid, Spain.

Abinader, an economist who has served as president of the Dominican Republic since August 2020, regularly conducts weekend provincial tours to inspect state projects and inaugurate public infrastructure across the Caribbean nation.
His Sunday programme begins at 11:00 am in the El Almirante sector of Santo Domingo Este, where the president will lead an official ceremony handing over land property titles to local families.
According to a press statement released on Friday by the Presidency, the distribution forms part of government initiatives designed to guarantee legal certainty for the recipient households and facilitate formal ownership of their homes and plots.
Santo Domingo Este is the most populous municipality in the Dominican Republic, located immediately east of the capital across the Ozama River. Many urban neighbourhoods across the country developed through informal settlement over several decades, leaving residents without formal title deeds and making state titling drives a central public policy to regularise tenure and open access to municipal and financial services.
Government offices and education in Monseñor Nouel
Later on Sunday, Abinader will travel inland to the province of Monseñor Nouel to inaugurate the Juan Pablo Duarte Government Offices Building, a new public facility built to house state administration.
The Presidency stated that the complex will bring different state agencies together in a single shared space, aiming to make it easier for citizens to access public services without travelling between separate locations.
The building bears the name of Juan Pablo Duarte, the nineteenth century founding father and national hero who led the movement for Dominican independence. Monseñor Nouel is a central province in the Cibao region, named after former archbishop and president Adolfo Alejandro Nouel, with its provincial seat at Bonao serving as a major agricultural and commercial centre.
While in Monseñor Nouel, the president will also inaugurate the Profesora Jaqueline Lima Basic School, situated in the Prosperidad sector.
The government said the school infrastructure is part of wider efforts to strengthen the national public education system and improve classroom conditions for local pupils. Basic schools in the Dominican Republic provide foundational primary and intermediate education, serving as the backbone of the public school system for children across urban and rural communities.
New basic school for Villa Altagracia
The presidential tour will conclude in the municipality of Villa Altagracia, in the southern province of San Cristóbal, where Abinader will preside over the opening of the Eurania Montás Basic School.
According to the official announcement, the facility aims to ensure quality education by providing children with dignified and suitable spaces for learning and personal development, while broadening educational opportunities throughout the municipality.
Villa Altagracia lies in the foothills of the Cordillera Central along the Duarte Highway, the primary transit route connecting Santo Domingo with Santiago and the northern Cibao valley. San Cristóbal, which borders the capital to the west, has seen substantial public investment as authorities seek to expand schooling capacity in rapidly growing suburban and rural districts.
Public school expansion in the Dominican Republic is supported by a statutory benchmark allocating four percent of the national gross domestic product to the education sector, a budget standard enacted to fund new classrooms, instructional resources, and modern facilities across provincial districts.
The Sunday tour marks Abinader's return to direct public engagements across the country following his diplomatic and working travel to Spain, bringing the three newly finished community and educational projects into active service.
