‘Veneciafrenia’ and ‘Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon’ will open and close the Horror Week

The movie ‘Venicephrenia’, by Álex de la Iglesia, will be in charge of inaugurating the Horror Week at the Principal Theater next Friday, October 29, while the film ‘Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon’, by Ana Lily Amirpour, will close it in the same place on November 5.

In the Official Section of the festival, 25 feature films and 27 shorts will be screened, all of them at the Teatro Principal and the Victoria Eugenia, the main venues. The works will be evaluated by a jury made up of Toni Costa (Sony Pictures), director Maider Oleaga and producer Sonia Palacios.

This year’s cycle is dedicated to the figure of the Polish science fiction writer Stanislaw Lem (1921-2006), and there will be a special screening of the medium-length film ‘The cabin’, by Antonio Mercero.

The sale of tickets will begin this Friday at 11:30, which this time will be carried out exclusively online, through the Donostia Kultura website, and until 8:00 p.m. the same day. On Tuesday 26 at the same time, and also only online, single tickets will begin to be sold, which from the 27th will also be bought at the ticket offices of the Principal and Victoria Eugenia theaters.
