TVP sued Adamczyk, Pereira and Tulicki. He is demanding PLN 1.3 million from former employees

Telewizja Polska sued Michał Adamczyk, Samuel Pereira and Marcin Tulicki and demands PLN 1.33 million from former employees. The case concerns depriving the company of the opportunity to use the headquarters of the Television Information Agency from December 20 to mid-January.

On December 20, 2023, the public media revolution began. At Telewizja Polska, the supervisory board was replaced and a new president, Tomasz Sygut, was appointed, who dismissed employees responsible for propaganda in news programs. In turn, the new Minister of Culture, Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz, put the company into liquidation.

The new order met with opposition from the former president of the Television Information Agency, Michał Adamczyk, who in a recent interview maintained that he was still the only “legal” president of the station. The journalist, together with Samuel Pereira and Marcin Tulicki, began to occupy the headquarters of the Television Information Agency at Powstańców Warszawy Square, which made it difficult for TVP to prepare further news programs.

Telewizja Polska moved for some time to the headquarters at Woronicza Street, but the building has completely different technical facilities. Adamczyk and his close collaborators left the TAI headquarters after almost a month, but during that time they exposed Telewizja Polska to serious losses.

TVP is demanding PLN 1.33 million from former employees

According to TVP’s liquidator, Daniel Gorgosz, we are talking about millions. The Wirtualne Media portal reported that the loss of advertising revenues resulting from the exclusion of TVP Info amounted to losses of over one million zlotys. Telewizja Polska issued a statement in which it noted that a lawsuit against former TVP employees had already been filed.

“Damage that the Company suffered in connection with the unlawful actions of the defendants, which deprived TVP of the ability to use the infrastructure located in the building at Plac Powstańców Warszawy 7” – Wirtualne Media portal. As a result of the actions of TVP, it sued Adamczyk, Pereira and Tulicki. It is demanding PLN 1.3 million from former employees of Telewizja Polska, there was a lack of sponsorship content on TVP Info and TVP3 on December 20-29, 2023. Telewizja Polska is demanding PLN 1.33 million from Adamczyk, Pereira and Tulicki.
