Clément and Armand released their first film, "Un grand raccourci," on Wednesday, French broadcaster TF1 reported, fulfilling a dream the pair have held since their school days.
The two met at a school in Nantes on the first day of their fourth-grade year, according to TF1. That is where the idea for their first short film was born, the broadcaster said.
Now 22 years old, Clément and Armand spent several years building the project despite knowing no one in the film industry, TF1 reported. The broadcaster described "Un grand raccourci" as an ode to youth made by two gentle dreamers.
