“Investors have a very good mood to continue investing in Peru,” he told the press after meeting with the president of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vásquez and various executives from the transport and mining sector.
The official said that the meeting was held “to insist on dialogue with investors, collect their points of view and, from there, be able to continue working supporting private investment and the complementary public investment that is needed, for accelerated growth and generation of employment ”.
Francke Ballvé added that “the dollar continues to fall and there is more confidence to be able to have external financing.”
Likewise, the minister stressed that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has ratified the growth of the national economy for next year. “We have also seen today that the IMF has indicated that its growth projection for Peru next year is 4.6%, it is a good figure, we project 4.8%, we are almost in line with what is established by the IMF”, concluded.
