The National Union of Workers of the Ministry of Agriculture (Sinatrama) will abide by a 48-hour strike from Thursday July 14 to Friday July 15, alleging that they are failing to comply with demands filed with the Ministry of Agrarian Development (Midagri).
According to Samuel Huincho, general secretary of Sintrama, Agro Rural has 20 zonal units and 92 zonal offices, executing more than a third of the budget of the 013 statement, however, he regretted that the remuneration of the workers is less than half of other pgoramas. such as Senasa, Serfor or Ana, given that they have a remuneration scale of 1998.
“We have collective agreements signed with the employers, in addition to two (02) court arbitration awards, whose sentences were resolved favorably, however, the Executive has not complied with the execution of any of the agreements, despite having three (03) minutes extra-process signed in recent years”, he noted.
In addition, it specifies that this year they presented a list of claims for the collective bargaining to begin, receiving the commitment of Agro Rural to increase wages and provide food support to the workers of DL 728 and 1057.
However, having gone through various negotiation mechanisms and none of them having materialized, they have lost confidence, recalls Huincho.
“Precisely because of the respect for collective agreements, arbitration awards and the homologation of remuneration, and since there is no willingness to comply on the part of the officials, we are forced to make use of our right to strike,” he said.
