Astir Palace Vouliagmeni is pursuing a new strategy after control of its parent company passed to Greek shipowner Giorgos Prokopiou, according to the company’s management report.
The complex, which houses the Four Seasons Athens hotel, said its primary goal is to become a tourist attraction for the southern suburbs of the city and to establish a new culture in Greek hospitality. The company said it is renewing partnerships and bringing in new executives to support that direction.
The management report described the change as radical, with the first signs already evident during the 2025 fiscal year, linked to the transfer of the parent company’s shares into Prokopiou’s control.
