Technology giant Apple has planned a major product announcement for September featuring eight new devices, according to specialized media publication MacRumors.
Journalists at the technology outlet compiled the list after analyzing industry rumors. The prospective lineup includes the flagship iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max smartphones alongside the company's first foldable smartphone, which insiders previously revealed would be announced at a presentation scheduled for September 9.
The iPhone is Apple's flagship smartphone product line, operating on the iOS platform. A foldable smartphone would represent Apple's first device featuring a flexible display, expanding its mobile hardware catalog into a new form factor.
References to all eight upcoming devices were discovered in early build versions of Apple operating systems. Alongside the new smartphones, the company will present new smartwatch models, named the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, as well as the new AirPods 5 wireless headphones.
Apple Watch models run on watchOS, providing health monitoring and activity tracking, with the Ultra series representing Apple's premium rugged smartwatch option. AirPods serve as the company's line of wireless Bluetooth earbuds.
New Mac computers and chip lineup
Before the end of the first autumn month of September, the IT giant will also release updated Mac mini and Mac Studio desktop computers for sale. Models powered by M6, M5 Pro, M5 Max, and M5 Ultra processors were announced at the end of August.
Apple emphasized that the M5 Ultra represents the most powerful processor in the product line. Prices for the computer models will start at $899, which equals approximately 78,000 Russian rubles.
The Mac mini is Apple's compact desktop computer, while the Mac Studio is designed as a higher-performance desktop workstation for professional workloads. Both computer lines run on Apple's proprietary M-series silicon processors, which integrate central processing and graphics capabilities on a single chip.

The hardware release schedule follows an official announcement made by Apple at the end of August confirming a presentation scheduled for September 9. The presentation carries the official event slogan "Surprise and Shine."
