Spanish retailer PcComponentes has cut the price of the 11-inch Apple iPad to 469 euros, offering a discount on the bestselling tablet.
The promotion reduces the cost of the newly released device from the 500 euros charged on Apple's official online store, according to Spanish newspaper La Razon.
Writing for La Razon, Manuel Sifontes reported that the discount makes the entry-level tablet an appealing option for buyers looking to avoid the full retail price while securing years of operating system updates.
PcComponentes, an online consumer electronics platform based in Spain, is offering the discounted model with fast home delivery and customer support for buyers setting up their Apple accounts.
Display and camera specifications
The tablet features an 11-inch Liquid Retina screen equipped with True Tone technology and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Sifontes noted that the high brightness level prevents eye strain when reading or working outdoors in direct sunlight.
For photography and document capture, the device carries a 12-megapixel rear camera designed for digitising paperwork and study notes. The front camera includes Apple's Center Stage technology, which automatically tracks subjects around a room to keep them centered during video calls.
The model comes with 128 gigabytes of internal storage, providing capacity for local file storage, creative work, and downloaded media.
Hardware performance and accessories
Under the hood, the device is powered by Apple's A16 processor and runs the iPadOS 27 operating system. The processor handles sustained multitasking, multiple concurrent applications, and 4K video editing without performance drops, Sifontes reported.
The hardware supports the Apple Pencil accessory, allowing users to draw, sketch, and take handwritten digital notes directly on the glass. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6 wireless networking and a USB-C port that links directly to external hard drives without requiring special adapters.
Security is handled by Apple's Touch ID fingerprint recognition sensor, which provides immediate biometric unlocking on the frame.

Sifontes noted that the tablet is aimed at university students replacing loose paper notes, digital illustrators seeking a portable canvas, and travelers looking for a lightweight entertainment device. La Razon disclosed that its coverage included commercial affiliate links.

While Apple recently posted record overall revenue driven by iPhone sales, company figures showed weaker performance in its iPad and smartwatch divisions, with investor uncertainty surrounding the iPhone Duo affecting the firm's share valuation.
