Russian actress Anna Khilkevich has admitted that she is struggling to care for her three children on her own while her husband, Artur Martirosyan, is away from home.
Writing on Instagram, the star of the hit comedy television series Univer revealed that taking care of their daughters without her partner has left her in a sensitive and fragile emotional state.

Struggles of caring for children alone
Khilkevich and Martirosyan are raising three daughters together: 10-year-old Arianna, 8-year-old Maria, and 2-year-old Olivia. The actress admitted that managing the household without her husband present has proved extremely difficult.
She shared that she currently feels very fragile and sensitive, adding that she blames herself for leaving her daughters in the care of a nanny while dealing with daily tasks.
According to Khilkevich, her husband normally eases her workload by staying with the children whenever she needs to leave the house, such as to attend a massage appointment. In his absence, she explained that she has come to understand what women face when they carry work, home life and childcare entirely on their own shoulders.
Advice for mothers in similar situations
Reflecting on her situation, the actress noted that while she previously understood conceptually that being a single mother is hard, she had never experienced it firsthand until now.
She urged women who find themselves in similar circumstances to make every effort to carve out personal time for themselves.
Her comments were published on Instagram, a social network owned by Meta, which has been declared an extremist organisation and banned in the Russian Federation.
Surprise gift for daughter
The actress previously drew attention after gifting her eight-year-old daughter a live lion cub for her birthday. Khilkevich took the child to a safari park to choose a cub she liked and subsequently informed her that the young animal would be named after her.
