América will face Santos Laguna on Sunday, August 2, in a Matchday 3 fixture of the Liga MX Torneo Apertura at Estadio Banorte, with kickoff set for 5:00 p.m. Mexico City time.
América arrive having won their opener against Querétaro and drawn against Atlante, leaving them in sixth place in the standings. Santos Laguna have lost both of their opening matches and sit in the lower half of the table.
The match will be broadcast on Canal 5 and TUDN on free-to-air and pay television, and will also be available via streaming on ViX.
