Xiaomi Opens Pre-Orders for Mijia Smart Tea Bar Station

Xiaomi has opened pre-orders in China for the Mijia Smart Tea Bar Desktop, priced at 599 yuan, or roughly $90.

The device uses a dual-circuit water system. One circuit delivers hot water instantly, while the other is dedicated to boiling and brewing tea. The two channels are fully isolated from each other.

A ceramic flow heater powers the unit, which Xiaomi says can begin delivering hot water three seconds after switching on. Water is not stored in a heated state, avoiding the effect of repeated boiling.

The station has a 5.5-litre tank, which the company says meets the daily needs of about three people. Temperature can be set between 45 and 95 degrees Celsius in one-degree increments, with five preset temperature modes and four portion sizes available, along with custom settings.

When dispensing water at 90 degrees, the device continues heating it to a full boil in around 15 seconds. Users can load custom recipes through a mobile app, and the station automatically maintains the set drink temperature after brewing. A 2.8-inch colour display shows device status, and the unit supports control via the XiaoAI voice assistant and a library of more than 40 cloud-based tea recipes.
