The United States increased its imports of Russian ice cream in June 2026 to $76,000, reaching the highest monthly level since September 2025, Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported, citing U.S. customs data.
The June import total represented a 22 percent increase compared to May 2026. However, the figure was 15 percent lower than the amount imported in June 2025.
During the first half of 2026, overall U.S. imports of Russian ice cream reached $267,400. That total marks an 11 percent decline from the same period a year earlier.
Global Trade Figures
In total, the United States imported $31.2 million worth of ice cream from all foreign suppliers in June 2026. China was the largest exporter of the dessert to the country, supplying $5.6 million worth during the month.
The rise in ice cream shipments follows earlier reports that the United States had purchased significantly higher volumes of Russian seeds and nuts.
