The United States is providing free intelligence to Ukraine for strikes against Russian military positions and energy infrastructure targets, according to a report by The Atlantic.

American and Ukrainian sources said the US continues to provide only intelligence information free of charge. The data is specified for launching strikes against positions of the Russian military as well as energy infrastructure facilities.

Central Intelligence Agency Director John Ratcliffe in particular supports the initiative to provide the targeting data, the publication reported.

Intelligence sharing cooperation

Politico previously reported that intelligence sharing between the United States and Ukraine was gaining momentum and had returned to its previous high levels.

US Senator Mark Warner told Politico that he saw signs of improving cooperation between the two nations in that area.
