The Trump administration released a fourth tranche of classified UFO files on Friday, drawing criticism from investigative journalist Jeremy Corbell over withheld satellite evidence.
While the White House hailed the release as an act of unprecedented transparency, critics argued the newly declassified documents, photographs and videos amounted to little more than bottom of the barrel material.
Corbell, whose reporting previously helped bring classified military UFO video into public view, told the Daily Mail that government sources told him officials are hiding high-quality satellite video of recovered non-human craft.
Having cultivated contacts across military and intelligence circles for years, Corbell works closely with whistleblowers who have testified before the United States Congress.
Corbell stated that officials with direct knowledge of top secret programs told him intelligence agencies are actively examining physical craft that crashed or were left abandoned.
"I've been told by people in a position to know who have officially worked on UFO programs across multiple intelligence agencies that they are actively and durationally working on the actual physical non-human intelligence craft that has either crashed or, more often, appears to be abandoned or left," Corbell said.
According to Corbell, these insider conversations describe decades of research into retrieved vehicles that operate without wings, rotors, tails or visible fuel sources.
He added that researchers have attempted to analyze the materials used in the craft, decipher their propulsion systems, and investigate what insiders refer to as biologics recovered alongside the vehicles.
Corbell said the government is releasing aircraft videos while withholding full motion video gathered by orbital satellites.
"We're seeing a lot of Navy videos... a lot of Air Force videos... but what we're not seeing is high-quality reconnaissance footage from satellites in full," he said. "Where is the satellite footage with full motion video? They have it."
Declassified Encounters And Missing Satellite Data
Corbell explained that satellite imagery would offer clearer proof of unexplained objects than the infrared aircraft videos released so far.
The newly declassified files include video of an eerie six-pointed object tracked over East Asia, footage of a jellyfish-like craft, and a Department of Energy report on an object spotted above the Pantex nuclear weapons plant in Texas.
The Pantex plant, located near Amarillo, Texas, is the primary facility in the United States for assembling, disassembling and maintaining nuclear weapons.
Corbell claimed the disclosed cases represent only a fraction of recorded events, stating that hundreds of thousands of high-quality UAP videos exist within government archives.
"There are hundreds of thousands of high-quality UAP videos... it becomes obvious that we're getting an underhanded pitch with what is being decided to be put out to the public," Corbell said.
The term UAP, or Unidentified Aerial Phenomena, is the official designation used by military and intelligence agencies for unidentified flying objects.
Whistleblower Claims And Secret Craft Research
The United States government maintains that investigations have yielded no verifiable proof of extraterrestrial life or off-world technology visiting Earth.
Pentagon reviews and declassified reports have repeatedly concluded that while some military sightings remain unexplained, none have been confirmed as alien technology.
The Pentagon, located in Arlington, Virginia, serves as the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense.
Corbell's claims mirror statements from David Grusch, a former Air Force intelligence officer who testified to Congress in 2023 that the government recovered non-human craft and biologics.
Those allegations fueled public debate over hidden technology, though government officials repeatedly denied finding verified proof of extraterrestrial craft.
Corbell also referenced Dr James Lacatski, a former Defense Intelligence Agency analyst who claimed a craft of unknown origin is being studied in absolute secrecy.
The Defense Intelligence Agency produces military intelligence for combat operations and defense policy planning across the United States armed forces.
"Lacatski discussed breaching the hull of a non-human intelligence craft in our possession that we were reverse-engineering," Corbell said.
Future UAP Disclosures And Technical Programs
Corbell acknowledged that he has not worked inside these secret programs himself, but said military and intelligence contacts convinced him extraordinary evidence remains classified.
Although Corbell previously published UFO videos later included in official White House dumps, other footage he promoted was challenged or explained by military officials, scientists and independent researchers.
Despite those disputes, Corbell expressed optimism about future disclosures, saying regular releases of official UAP data will benefit public understanding.
"The more official UAP data released into the public realm, the better," Corbell said.
"My hope is that as this footage and documentation get released on a regular schedule, the quality and detail will keep climbing," he added.
"We know there have been official reverse-engineering programs for UAP craft acquired through crash retrievals and other means. Heads of these programs have testified, under oath, that we possess UAP and have been working on them. If we stay on this trajectory, the details of these technical programs will reach the American public."
