Tiphaine Auzière, the 42-year-old daughter of French First Lady Brigitte Macron, is in a relationship with 22-year-old business administration student Antoine Lecomte.
Auzière, whom the French First Lady had during her first marriage to André-Louis Auzière, was seen sharing affectionate moments with Lecomte in a video posted to Instagram by the 22-year-old. The video captured moments from a vacation the couple took to Amsterdam.
According to the Daily Mail, the French president's stepdaughter and the business student met during the summer at Le Touquet, a cosmopolitan seaside resort in northwestern France. Lecomte was working at the resort as a kitesurfing instructor and gave lessons to Auzière.
Summer romance at Le Touquet
A close friend of the French president's stepdaughter told French magazine Gala that the attraction between the couple was immediate. The friend added that they share a lot in common, including a love for Le Touquet, adrenaline, travel, and entrepreneurship.
Auzière, who works as a lawyer and is also involved in politics, has already introduced Lecomte to her two children, 12-year-old Élise and 10-year-old Aurèle. She had her children with Antoine Choteau, whom she separated from in January 2025 after the former couple signed a civil solidarity pact in 2010.
Brigitte Macron is reported to be particularly happy about her daughter's new relationship. A source told Gala that the First Lady reacted as any mother would, stating that all that matters to her is her daughter's happiness, that she is delighted to see her flourish, and that she will be very happy to meet Lecomte.
The 42-year-old lawyer's new relationship comes a few months after her separation from French television presenter Cyril Hanouna in May 2026.
Parallels with Brigitte and Emmanuel Macron
The romance has drawn comparisons to the relationship between 73-year-old Brigitte Macron and 48-year-old French President Emmanuel Macron. Emmanuel Macron was a 15-year-old student at the private La Providence school in Amiens when he first met his future wife, who was teaching at the institution at the time.
