Tini Stoessel demands earnings back from her father

Argentine pop singer Tini Stoessel is demanding to recover her earnings after discovering her father was the sole beneficiary of her career income.

The singer ended her professional relationship with her father, television producer Alejandro Stoessel, about three months ago. He had managed her career and administered her affairs for approximately 15 years.

Tini requested a private audit to review the management of her income and economic rights after their working relationship ended. The review raised questions about the commercial companies linked to her professional activity.

According to reports, the singer does not have a direct shareholding in some of the businesses that manage resources from her music, image, commercial contracts and live shows.

Audit targets management structure

The audit sought to establish exactly how the administration of the income generated throughout her years as an artist was structured.

Publications indicate Tini is seeking to regain direct control over the assets generated by her career. Media reports have cited a possible fortune of around 70 million dollars, although Tini has not officially confirmed this figure.

Tini, born Martina Stoessel, gained international fame as a teenager starring in the Disney Channel Latin America series Violetta. She has since launched a highly successful solo pop career, releasing multiple hit albums and touring globally.

Her father had a long career as an Argentine television director and producer before taking over the management of his daughter's affairs when she became a star.

Denials of family fight

The situation has led to reports of an economic dispute between the singer and her father. However, Alejandro Stoessel's representatives denied the existence of a legal or family fight.

In statements circulated on Wednesday, the producer's camp said the reports of a confrontation were inventions and misinterpretations. They said the review of the assets is part of a transition and reorganization process.

The review of her finances comes during a period of personal and professional changes for the singer, whose relationship with Argentine footballer Rodrigo De Paul is advancing. De Paul is a midfielder who won the 2022 World Cup with Argentina and plays his club football in Spain for Atletico Madrid.

There has been no public confirmation of a permanent split between Tini and her father, but the decision to end his representation and review her wealth structure represents a major shift in the management of her career.
