A teacher who posts on Reddit under the username Environmental-Buy992 has described a severe bout of food poisoning after eating a slice of pizza she found in the staff room at her school, saying the experience turned into a bathroom nightmare.
The woman said she noticed a pizza box left out on a table in the teachers' lounge and took a slice from it. She said there was a chance the pizza had been sitting out of the fridge for about three hours, but noted she had eaten that kind of pizza before without any problems.
She said she woke up the next morning with terrible stomach cramps and realized she was about to have hot, liquid diarrhea. She said she made it to the bathroom but not to the toilet in time, and scalding stool poured straight onto the floor. As if that were not enough, she said she then felt she was about to vomit.
Fainting and a Second Accident
After quickly wiping herself down, she stood up to get to the toilet and immediately lost consciousness, though only for a couple of seconds, she said. She said she came to while vomiting, and that she soiled herself again in the process. She said she then spent ten minutes too afraid to get up out of the puddle of her own waste and vomit.
She said she eventually managed to get up, vomited again, and the diarrhea returned as well, though this time she reached the toilet. She said she cleaned herself up and showered afterward, adding that what upset her most was the state of her pajama set, which she said was completely ruined by the mess.
