Striker Cristiano Ronaldo included in Portugal’s squad for Euro 2024
Saudi Al-Nasr striker Cristiano Ronaldo has been included in the Portuguese national team’s squad for Euro 2024. The full list is published on the Portuguese Football Federation website.
For 39-year-old Ronaldo, this will be the sixth European Championship in his career. He played 25 matches at the final stage of tournaments and scored 14 goals.
Ronaldo is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner. He has five Champions League victories to his name, as well as league titles in England, Spain and Italy. Together with the Portuguese national team, the footballer became the 2016 European champion, silver and bronze medalist of the continental championship.
The European Championship will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, 2024. Ten cities will host the matches. Portugal will play in Group F. Their opponents will be the teams of Turkey, Georgia and the Czech Republic.
