Coach Butsaev about Proskuryakova’s refusal from Rammstein: let’s make the right decision
Coach Victoria Butsaeva explained the refusal of Russian figure skater Taisiya Proskuryakova to perform under Rammstein. Her words are reported by RIA Novosti.
“This topic has been much discussed lately, I don’t consider it necessary to comment on it. We will make a certain decision, which will be correct,” she said.
On September 23, Proskuryakova performed at the I. Ya. Raber Memorial in Moscow. One of the fragments of the musical accompaniment of the short program she presented is the song Sonne. However, the skater later announced that the music would be changed in the future. “The decision of the coaching staff,” she shared.
Previously, another Russian figure skater, Pyotr Gumennik, was forced to refuse to use the Rammstein song in the musical accompaniment for the short program. The reason was a letter to the Russian Ministry of Sports and the Russian Figure Skating Federation.
