Peruvian influencer Samahara Lobatón has claimed that reality show star Shirley Arica failed to give her an agreed share of a 100,000 Peruvian soles prize.
Lobatón revealed the unfulfilled arrangement during a conversation on the reality television show La Prisión del Destino 2, which is filmed in Miami.
The topic arose while contestants were discussing potential cooperation strategies to split a total prize pool. Lobatón remarked in a relaxed tone that she had previously agreed with a friend to divide any prize money on a reality show, but added that not a single sol ever reached her.
Prize deal details and social media reaction
The claim refers to the Peruvian reality show La Granja VIP Perú, which concluded two months ago. Arica was crowned the winner of the 100,000 soles cash prize after defeating fellow contestant Pamela López in the final stage.
Lobatón's statement quickly generated widespread reactions across TikTok. Many viewers of La Granja VIP Perú recalled that Lobatón and Arica had publicly discussed a pact to split the prize money during the broadcast.
However, social media users remained divided on the issue. Some accused Arica of breaking her word, while others pointed out that the agreement depended on both contestants reaching the final. Arica was the sole member of their Team Víboras group to advance to the final phase of the competition.
Feud between Samahara Lobatón and Shirley Arica
Arica has not responded directly to the recent comments regarding the prize money. The model, widely known in Peru by her nickname Chica Realidad, had previously addressed the state of their relationship on the show Q Bochinche.
During that appearance, Arica confirmed that her friendship with Lobatón remains broken. The rift stems from a conflict involving allegations of betrayal linked to actor Pablo Heredia and actress Alessandra Fuller.
Arica stated that she would not campaign or solicit votes for Lobatón in La Prisión del Destino 2. She revealed that Lobatón, who is the daughter of Peruvian media personality Melissa Klug, had recently sent her a text message.
Arica expressed suspicion that Lobatón reached out solely to ask for support in her current reality show, which she shares with her former partner Youna in Miami. Despite the mistrust, Arica noted that she still holds affection for Lobatón and remains open to an in-person conversation once Lobatón returns to Peru.

Lobatón's ongoing participation in La Prisión del Destino 2 has generated considerable controversy beyond her feud with Arica. Her relationship with Youna on the show has been marked by intense arguments.
During one televised confrontation, Lobatón drew fierce criticism after stating that she wished Youna would lose his life to the leukemia he suffers from.
The influencer was also involved in a physical altercation on the set of the show following a confrontation with Cuban contestant Sheila Sánchez.
The public disputes prompted Klug to address her daughter's behavior publicly. Klug exposed harsh text exchanges between Lobatón and Youna, stating that the pair frequently insult each other and say everything to each other.
