Peruvian influencer Samahara Lobatón clashed with Cuban contestant Freddy Salazar Ribeaux, known as "Cuba Cuba," on the reality show Prisión de Destino 2 on Sunday, August 23, 2026, after he mocked her for sleeping and pulled away the blanket she was covering herself with.
The confrontation came less than a week after the show began on Friday, August 21. Fellow contestant Pati Lorena had advised Lobatón, daughter of Peruvian television personality Melissa Klug and Abel Lobatón, to stay calm during the competition's early days.
According to footage from the show, Salazar Ribeaux first began taunting Sheila Sánchez, who leads the competition's voting standings, before turning on Lobatón, who sits in second place. He told the group to look at the contestant in second place asleep, said things could not be done that way, that the show was about generating content and sending messages, and asked what that modern piece of furniture was contributing.
Lobatón had ignored the remarks until Salazar Ribeaux pulled the blanket away from her. She got up and confronted him directly.
Lobatón fires back at 'Cuba Cuba'
When Salazar Ribeaux asked what she was contributing to the show, Lobatón warned him that if he touched her, she would touch him back, and that if he touched her again she would make sure he was removed from the competition. She told him plainly not to touch her.
When he asked why, she said it was because he had rules to follow, repeated that he should not touch her, and called him a piece of s***, using an expletive that was also censored in the original broadcast.
When Salazar Ribeaux suggested Lobatón needed to step up her game on the show, she replied that she did not owe him any explanations, telling him she did not work at his pace and did not work for him. As he kept calling her a piece of furniture, she shot back that she was the most expensive piece of furniture there was, and told him to deal with it. Her former partner and fellow contestant Youna backed her during the exchange.
Second clash over accusations of victimhood
The tension did not end there. In a separate exchange, Salazar Ribeaux accused Lobatón of playing the victim and of talking about him behind his back. Lobatón told him that if he wanted to fight with her, he would have to let her speak, and that if he wanted to shout, she could shout louder than he could.

Prisión de Destino 2 is a reality competition built around contestants living together, with Lobatón and Youna among its cast. Lobatón, the daughter of Melissa Klug and Abel Lobatón, previously appeared on the reality show La Granja VIP Perú. She had also reportedly been snubbed earlier on the show by Youna, her former partner.
