The pop comedy play Tonight We Dine at Iokasti's by playwright Akis Dimou will open on October 8, 2026, at the new Philip Theater in the Kypseli district of Athens. The stage production is scheduled to run at the venue throughout the winter season.
The story focuses on Iokasti Papadamou as she prepares an official family dinner to celebrate the return of her son from England. Her plans break down when the neighborhood's top manicurist is murdered shortly before the gathering begins.
The crime sparks a fast-paced series of events involving family misunderstandings, unexpected romances, hidden secrets, uninvited ghosts, and improbable revelations. According to the production description, the subversive comedy satirises the obsessions and contradictions of modern life while combining mystery and humor for audiences of all ages.

Foteini Baxevani leads the cast in the starring role of Iokasti. Baxevani also composed the original music for the show and co-directs the theatrical staging alongside director Christos Tripodis.
