Pamela Lopez has revealed an unresolved issue with Brazilian model Ana Paula Consorte during an appearance on her television show Vale Todo.
The television personality said she wants to speak directly with Consorte, who is the partner of veteran forward Paolo Guerrero, after learning through third parties that a misunderstanding had developed between them.
Lopez addressed the friction following an incident involving Consorte and Giuli Cunha, the wife of Alianza Lima striker Hernan Barcos. Consorte had publicly questioned Barcos over alleged kisses that Cunha reportedly blew toward Guerrero during a domestic league fixture between Alianza Lima and Sporting Cristal.
The resulting social media exchanges prompted intense discussion in Peruvian entertainment media about personal relationships among the families of high-profile footballers.
Misunderstanding between football families
Speaking on her programme, Lopez explained that although she has crossed paths with Consorte on a few occasions, they have never maintained a close personal connection. She stated that she discovered Consorte held an inaccurate perception of her only after mutual acquaintances brought the matter to her attention.
Lopez said she expects to clear up the confusion the next time she meets Consorte in person. She noted that Consorte had never addressed her publicly, but insisted that she remained keen to talk through the misunderstanding at the earliest opportunity.
Lopez, an influencer and businesswoman from Trujillo, has long been a prominent figure in Peruvian celebrity news through her marriage to Peru international midfielder Christian Cueva. Cueva and Guerrero were teammates during the national team campaign that secured qualification for the 2018 World Cup.
Visits to Doña Peta and family ties
During the same broadcast, Lopez spoke warmly about her historic bond with Guerrero's mother, Petronila Gonzales, popularly known across Peru as Doña Peta. Lopez recalled that she used to visit Gonzales frequently at her residence because they lived close to each other.
She recounted how the two women met regularly for afternoon coffee and conversations, describing the relationship as one built on affection, respect and admiration. Lopez said they formed a close rapport while their respective partners were away on national team duty.
Lopez also clarified her past interactions with Guerrero himself, explaining that she first came to know the striker when he was in a relationship with Peruvian model and actress Alondra Garcia Miro. She recalled that they met repeatedly at social gatherings organised around national team commitments.
Strictly respectful relationship
Lopez revealed that she still keeps photographs of Guerrero holding her children when they were infants, reflecting the familiarity shared by families of national squad regulars over several tournament cycles.
However, Lopez emphasised that her interactions with the Alianza Lima forward were always formal and polite. She maintained that they never shared a playful friendship and never exchanged personal messages or jokes.
Lopez added that she understood Guerrero's temperament well enough to believe that Consorte was likely unhappy about the former ties. She reiterated that she holds no ill will and simply wishes to settle the matter face to face.
Guerrero, nicknamed El Depredador, is Peru's record goalscorer and national team captain, and currently plays alongside Barcos in the forward line for Lima giants Alianza Lima. The club competes at the summit of the Peruvian top flight against historic rivals including Sporting Cristal and Universitario.
Consorte has not yet responded publicly to Lopez's comments, leaving the matter open until the two women next cross paths.
